WHAT IS IMPORTANT
What sustainability means to us
For the companies in the VEM Group, sustainability means taking on ecological, social and economic responsibility and acting in the interests of future generations. It is firmly anchored in our corporate policy to pay attention to environmentally friendly and fair production processes, to communicate transparently with our internal and external stakeholders and to work closely with suppliers and partners to ensure the highest sustainability standards along our value chain.
With our products and technologies, we want to make an active contribution to energy efficiency and climate protection. For these reasons, we are proud that our electric motors, as the heart of numerous applications, support our customers and partners in working energy-efficiently and reducing CO2 emissions.

Supply chain care
In addition to optimizing sustainability performance within our own value creation processes, exercising due diligence along our supply chain and ensuring compliance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) is particularly important to us.
Our Code of Conduct represents a clear code of conduct for suppliers. To ensure that all suppliers and partners share our standards with regard to human and labor rights, we rely on transparent communication, regular risk analyzes and supplier audits:
- Due diligence processes: Regular reviews and audits
- Risk management: Identification and assessment of potential risks in the supply chain
- Transparency: Disclosure of our due diligence obligations
The VEM Group also communicates transparently to its customers in accordance with the LkSG. In addition to self-disclosure in response to customer inquiries, we are supported by the IntegrityNext platform, which uses questionnaires and categorizations to provide insights into the sustainability performance of companies and their LkSG compliance.
